GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police say a man who disappeared from the city’s southeast side in early July has been found several states away.

Clyde Williams, 44, was reported missing on July 5 after he walked away from his sister’s house in the 2000 block of Francis Avenue SE.

Relatives were concerned, telling officers Williams may act confused and disoriented from a possible mental condition.

Grand Rapids police made a second call for public tips Monday.

Thursday morning, they announced relatives had found Clyde Williams in Erie, Pennsylvania. They told police Williams is alive and well.
