Deputies ID teen stabbed, killed in Holland Twp.

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are trying to find out who stabbed and killed a teen during a fight in Ottawa County.

It happened at 10:33 p.m. Thursday on Manley Avenue east of 136th Avenue in Holland Township. Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies say the fight involved several suspects and occurred in the street.

When deputies arrived on-scene, they found an 18-year-old male suffering from a single stab wound to the chest. Authorities say paramedic deputies provided first aid to the victim, however, the victim died at the scene.

Deputies have identified the victim as Seth Cuevas of Holland.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and detectives are speaking with witnesses and trying to identify suspects.

Deputies say they have arrested three people for lying to police during a murder investigation. Authorities identified them as 22-year-old Sergio Coda and 22-year-old Alexis Allen of Holland Township, as well as 19-year-old Mark Hekman of Park Township. Each faces a felony charge of lying to a peace officer. The trio have not been charged with the murder of Cuevas.
