GRFC beats Lansing United in final regular season game


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Football Club played their final regular season game at Houseman Filed on Friday.

The playoff-bound blue took on Lansing United.

There were some special guests in the crowd Friday night, including Brian Ching and Stuart Holden who are both former members of the U.S. national team. Also two time Olympic gold medalist Linsday Tarpley, of Portage.

They are in town for the GRFC soccer camp, which started Friday morning and runs through Sunday.

The special guests joined the fans for the grand march to Houseman Field and then watched the game.
