Police: Pedestrian killed after being struck by car in BC

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say one person was killed after she was struck by a car at a busy intersection in Battle Creek.

It happened at 9:31 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Columbia Avenue and 20th Street. Police say bystanders were performing CPR on a 54-year-old woman when they arrived on-scene, and continued until medical units arrived, however, the victim could not be revived.

The woman’s name was not released.
