GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are searching for suspects in a downtown Grand Rapids shooting that wounded a teenager.
The 17-year-old victim was standing with a large group of teenagers Tuesday night near the east side of the Blue Bridge off Campau Avenue when he heard multiple shots, police say.
The victim ran to Rosa Parks Circle, where he flagged down an officer.
The teenager was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
It’s unclear if the shooter was targeting the victim or the group he was with.
Police said they are searching for three suspects described as juvenile males.
