Police seek hit-and-run suspect who injured bicyclist

CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are looking for the suspect in a hit-and-run crash that sent a man to the hospital.

According to deputies, a bicyclist was riding southbound on US-131 near Garber Road in Constantine Township when an unknown vehicle crossed the white fog line and hit the bicyclist around 4 a.m. Friday.

The driver of the vehicle continued south on US-131 without stopping to check on the bicyclist, a 57-year-old Three Rivers man, according to a release from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department.

The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
