Authorities: String of Holland Twp. break-ins could be same man

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a 21-year-old man arrested for breaking into a Holland Township apartment may be connected to a string of break-ins at the same complex.

Deputies were called to an apartment in the 14000 block of Quincy Street around 4:15 p.m. on July 26 after a witness saw a man breaking in.

The suspect, 21-year-old Abel Sepulveda, was still in the apartment when deputies arrived and was arrested for home invasion.

Sepulveda was released on a $10,000 bond, but since then investigators discovered that he may be involved in at least eight other break-ins at the same apartment complex. Police say some of the stolen items include food, jewelry, money and electronics.

Additional charges may be added in the near future, according to a release from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
