3 armed robbery suspects arrested in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Three suspects were arrested after Grand Rapids police say they robbed a person at gunpoint early Sunday.

The robbery happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of 5th Street NW in Grand Rapids.

Police say the victim was robbed on the street by three male suspects with a BB gun.

A short time later, authorities were able to locate the suspects in a stolen vehicle at the Shell gas station on Division and Wealthy Street.

Inside the vehicle, police found the stolen items.

Officers say the stolen vehicle was from a separate incident.

The three suspects were arrested and are being held at the Kent County Jail.
