Minimum Wage vs. Overtime Pay
- Minimum wage – everyone should be making at least $8.50 per hour
- Overtime pay – premium pay for any work over 40 hours per week
- Employee should make time and a half or 1 ½ times their regular rate of pay for overtime pay
