WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Wyoming police say a man who had been missing for days was found safe.

Tyrone Victor Hardin, 61, was reported missing on Monday after his daughter said she hadn’t seen him since Aug. 20. Relatives told officers he may have walked from a relative’s home on Adams Street SE in Grand Rapids toward Wyoming.

Hardin’s family says he doesn’t have a medical condition but he can become “confused at times.”

Police sent a release Tuesday morning saying Hardin had been located and is safe.

***CORRECTION: Based on information from police, an earlier version of this story listed the missing man as Tyrone Victor Harding when his actual name is Tyrone Victor Hardin. This error has since been corrected.***
