GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) September is National Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness and understanding and bring people together to support each other.

The Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan has been the go-to source in the community on this topic for 30 years. It aims to educate as many people as possible to recognize the onset of a mental illness.
