Man accused of exposing himself on Kent County trail arrested

GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich, (WOOD) — A man accused of exposing himself to multiple people on a trail southeast of Grand Rapids has been arrested and is facing charges, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.

Khang An Nguyen, 18, of Gaines Township, is facing three counts of indecent exposure and has been released from jail on a $3,000 bond in connection to the August incidents, sheriff’s authorities said.

The sheriff’s department began investigating after reports were made on Aug. 10 and Aug. 20 of a man exposing himself on the Paul Henry Trail in Gaines Township. One of the alleged victims was able to take a picture of the suspect, whose identity was unknown at the time.

Authorities asked the media to report the incidents in an effort to name the suspect, and another alleged victim came forward.
