GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – An Ottawa County man was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after witnesses say he ran his vehicle into a Georgetown Township gas station store twice.

David Andrew Frisk, 79, of Hudsonville, reportedly pulled into the Speedway station, which is located at 1815 Baldwin Street, around 9:20 a.m. and hit the building before backing up and hitting the building again, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses said Frisk was driving fast in the parking lot at the time of the incident.

Frisk, who was wearing his seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was listed in stable condition, sheriff’s authorities said. The Speedway had extensive damage, both on the inside and outside of the store.

Further details on what caused Frisk to hit the building weren’t immediately released.
