Fireworks show Saturday to cap off expo

National Fireworks Association Expo at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The National Fireworks Association Expo was in Grand Rapids this week, its first time stopping in West Michigan.

Vendors from across the world set up inside DeVos place to showcase latest trends in fireworks innovation and safety improvements.

As part of the event, there will be a fireworks display at Berlin Raceway in Marne on Saturday starting at 9:15 p.m. It’s being billed as the largest fireworks show in Michigan.

“Tomorrow night, open to the public. We want you to please come out and see it because it is your town and we want to have a big show for you,” NFA President Don Lantis said Friday.

The fireworks display is free to the public.
