GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Seven West Michigan colleges and universities will be holding a college fair in Grand Rapids to meet with former ITT Technical Institute students.

Counselors, admissions and financial aid advisers will be at the Kroc Center, located at 2500 S. Division Avenue in Grand Rapids, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to meet with those one-time ITT students.

Representatives from Aquinas College, Davenport University, Ferris State University, Calvin College, Grand Rapids Community College, Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University will be attending the ITT Student College Fair.

ITT Technical Institute, a for-profit school, abruptly shut down all 130 campuses, including one in Wyoming, after recent sanctions by the U.S. Department of Education barring the school from accepting students using federal aid to pay for classes.
