GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — If you’re looking to add lots of smiles to your life, this week’s pets of the week are the perfect fit for your home.

Kent County Animal Shelter Leonard the dog

First, meet Leonard. He’s a 2-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix who came to the Kent County Animal Shelter as a stray. Leonard is always smiling. He walks great on a leash, making him a perfect companion for trips outside.

Ryder from the Kent County Animal Shelter
Ryder was available for adoption at the Kent County Animal Shelter Friday, Sept. 16, 2016.

Next is Ryder, who also came to KCAS as a stray. She’s a sweet dog in a small package, making her perfect for a small home or apartment. Shelter workers estimate Ryder is about 7 years old.

Both dogs will have all the necessary vaccinations and be spayed and neutered upon adoption.
