Asamu plays the blues in downtown Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) They have represented West Michigan at the International Blues Challenge and now they are back to share more music with West Michigan.

Asamu Johnson and the Associates of the Blues will be playing at the African-American Art & Music Celebration during ArtPrize. It is being held Friday and Saturday, September 23 and 24 on Calder Plaza in Grand Rapids. The band plays at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. You can also catch them at Union Cabaret and Grille in Kalamazoo on Friday, September 30.
