Cause of NW Grand Rapids house fire unknown

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids firefighters battled a fire at a home on the city’s northwest side Monday morning.

The fire started around 9:45 a.m. at a building in the 1100 block of Cora Street NW, about five blocks west of Stocking Elementary School.

No one was inside the home when the fire started. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
