GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is expected to make two stops in Michigan on Friday.
24 Hour News 8 was told by sources that Trump was going to make an appearance in West Michigan; however no other details were given.
According to Trump’s website, he will speak at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi at 5 p.m.
Those interested in attending must register on Trump’s website and are limited to two tickets per phone number. Doors will open at 2 p.m.
24 Hour News 8’s political reporter Rick Albin will be in Novi and will have live reports Friday night.
Trump visited Flint on Sept. 14 where he gave a short speech at a church before he was interrupted by the pastor and heckled by the crowd. The trip was the Republican presidential nominee’s first visit to the poverty-stricken city since lead was detected in its water supply in April 2014.
Hillary Clinton’s daughter Chelsea will also be in Michigan on Friday. She is expected to campaign for her mom in the Traverse City area.
The Clinton campaign said additional details about Chelsea’s trip would be released later.
Chelsea recently visited Grand Rapids for the first time since her mom clinched the Democratic presidential nomination.
