MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Muskegon County authorities have charged a teenager in the September shooting death of a driver, but say he’s not the person who pulled the trigger.
Monday, Galvester Robinson, 16, was charged with open murder in the death of Gary Thompson, Muskegon County Prosecutor Timothy Maat confirmed to 24 Hour News 8.
Thompson, 23, was fatally shot Sept. 21 as he drove along Peck Street near the border between Muskegon and Muskegon Heights. The shots were fired from someone in another vehicle.
According to Maat, investigators think Robinson was driving that vehicle, but he’s not believed to have been the shooter. The shooter has not been arrested.
