GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Sen. Bernie Sanders is expected to rally in Grand Rapids for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
According to a release from the Clinton campaign, the event is happening at Central High School on Fountain Street from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Those interested in attending should RSVP on Clinton’s website.
Since pulling out of the presidential race, Sanders has been focused on rallying his supporters behind Clinton.
“Any objective observer will conclude that — based on her ideas and her leadership — Hillary Clinton must become the next president of the United States,” he declared in a headlining address on the opening night of the Democratic convention in July.
Bill Clinton also made stops in Michigan on Monday to campaign for his wife and urge people to register to vote before the Oct. 11 deadline.
