CHICAGO, Ill. (WOOD) – Fall is a wonderful time to explore, and here in West Michigan, we love our lakes, rivers, and streams. So when Rachael visited Chicago, she wanted to go to a similar resource. With the famous Chicago River running through the city, the role of the river has really changed in recent years. The river’s become quite an attraction, with more walkways, businesses, and recreation than ever before.

The Chicago Riverwalk is way more pedestrian friendly and intimate than it ever used to be. There is the McCormick Bridgehouse and Chicago River Museum, it’s a good place to start when exploring the Riverwalk!
If you’re planning a trip to Chicago, Choose Chicago is a great resource that gives ideas for places to stay, eat, and entertainment options.
