BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was stabbed twice by a suspected intruder at his Battle Creek home Friday morning.
The 40-year-old Battle Creek man told police he was outside of his home in the first block of Corwin Street around 6:15 a.m. when he believes he interrupted the suspect as he was attempting to break in the house.

Officers brought in a K-9 and attempted to track the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5-feet 9-inches tall with a low cut beard.
