GRPD searching for armed robbery suspect

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are searching for a man they say robbed a pizzeria.

Authorities were called to the Little Caesars Pizza restaurant at 2045 Eastern Ave. SE at 10:54 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the suspect walked into the restaurant with a handgun tucked under his armpit and demanded money. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30s. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a gray bandanna and carrying a silver handgun.
