GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A married couple has admitted to stealing thousands of dollars from a Grand Rapids Public Schools fund.

Monday morning, Samantha Rogalski pleaded guilty to embezzlement. Her husband, Nicholas Rogalski, pleaded guilty to uttering and publishing.

Samantha Rogalski was the secretary and treasurer for Kent Vocational Options, a special education program for students with cognitive impairments and disorders on the autism spectrum. Investigators say she wrote checks off the school account to her husband. In all, the fund lost about $10,000.

Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 13.
