GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) – The Congenital Heart Center at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital has grown tremendously in the past four years, offering new expertise to children and adults with congenital heart disease. The center is expanding further to meet the needs of patients and moving their outpatient clinic to 25 Michigan Street. Dr. Marcus Haw, a congenital heart surgeon and co-director for the Congenital Heart Center, joined eightWest to talk about the new space and what it offers.
New clinic features include:
o Dedicated waiting room and 13 exam rooms for pediatric patients
o Dedicated waiting room and six exam rooms for adult patients
o Eight echocardiography rooms
o Expanded cardiac testing available in the office
o New and improved cardio exercise testing space
