GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police say one person was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday morning.

Police say the victim was at a gas station at the corner of Burton Street and Palace Avenue when multiple shots were fired at his vehicle. He then drove to a home in the 2000 block of Jerome Avenue, which officers were summoned to at 3:53 a.m.

The 41-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. Police say they have not been able to develop a suspect.

Grand Rapids police say they do not believe the incident was related to an earlier shooting in the area of Delaware and Union streets. That incident sent two teens to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
