God’s Kitchen says that on Nov. 21, — the Monday before Thanksgiving — it will deliver a turkey dinner to elderly, disabled, sick, shut-ins and veterans at Bedford Manor, Cherry Hill Manor, Kellogg Manor, Springview Tower and Silver Star Apartments.

On Dec. 19 — the Monday before Christmas — a holiday dinner will be served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Battle Creek Central High School. God’s Kitchen said the free meal is open to everyone — there is no income requirement. The meal will include baked chicken, spiral sliced ham, steak, cheesy broccoli, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls and punch. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make an appearance and give away toys (while supplies last).

The nonprofit God’s Kitchen generally serves veterans at Silver Star Apartments.
