Norton Shores police seek stinky masked man

NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WOOD) — Norton Shores police are looking for a foul-smelling thief who targeted a gas station.

The robbery happened around 3:25 a.m. Thursday at the Shell located at 4185 Grand Haven Road.

Police say the suspect demanded cash from the till before ordering both female clerks into the cooler. He was last seen running north from the store.

Michigan State Police troopers and K-9s tried to track the suspect, to no avail.

The robber is 6 feet 2 inches with a thin to medium build. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a light blue scarf over his face. One clerk said he smelled foul.
