DETROIT (WOOD) — Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton plans to hold a rally in Detroit on Friday, just days before the Nov. 8 election.

The Clinton campaign has not yet released details on the “get out the vote” rally, but people who are interested in attending can RVSP online.

Sen. Bernie Sanders will be speaking at Western Michigan University Wednesday in support of Clinton. Cher was also in Kalamazoo Monday campaigning for the Democratic nominee.

The Republican presidential nominee, businessman Donald Trump, stumped in Michigan Monday.

Trump’s children, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, will be in Michigan Wednesday. Eric Trump will be here Friday. His running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, will be in the state Thursday.

Both campaigns have been focusing more attention on Michigan in the final days before Election Day. Michigan has been a blue state in the presidential race for nearly three decades — George H. W. Bush was the most recent Republican to win the state in 1988.
