Ottawa Co. deputies seek suspect after gas station robbed

OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man they say robbed a gas station Thursday night.

It happened at 10:55 p.m. at the Exxon station located at 6363 136th Avenue in Olive Township.

Deputies say the suspect entered the gas station, brandished a gun at the clerk and demanded money. He then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and had a mask covering his face.

No one was injured in the robbery, deputies say.
