Woman injured in Kzoo County hit and run crash; no arrests

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department is turning to the public for help in finding the driver who hit a pedestrian and drove off.

The hit and run incident happened around 7:45 a.m. Friday on Gull Road east of G Avenue in Comstock Township, northwest of Kalamazoo.

Authorities say a woman was crossing Gull Road when she was hit by an eastbound car. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injury to her leg, according to deputies.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a small white sports car with a black top and tinted windows. Deputies say the vehicle was missing its driver’s side headlight before the crash.
