GRPD seek 3 in deadly 28th Street shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police have released surveillance photos Tuesday of persons of interest in connection to the shooting on 28th Street that wounded eight and killed one.

Police describe the first person of interest as a man who was wearing a shirt with a strip across the front and back and stripes on the sleeves. The next is a man with a beard who was wearing a solid colored shirt and a hooded sweatshirt. The third is a woman who was carrying a bag.

No arrests have been made in the case. It happened early Oct. 9 at a strip mall in the 1800 block of 28th Street SE during a party. One person was killed and eight others injured.

Grand Rapids Police Department Chief David Rahinsky told 24 Hour News 8 that detectives believe at least two of shootings since then are connected to the case.
