The Jericho Foundation is a grassroots non-profit group raises money and awareness about education needs. Check out the video to hear more about this important group’s mission and the work they do.

On November 11th, The Jericho Foundation will host it’s 13th annual Night of Hope Silent Auction and Dinner! The silent auction will feature a variety of items, provided by local community members and businesses, valued over $35,000. Money raised at the event will go directly to educating, or assisting with educational supplies, for marginalized youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The event will feature two amazing guest speakers. Best-selling author, Sara Novic, will deliver the keynote address. Sara’s novel Girl at War, chronicles the real experiences of individuals during the Balkan Civil War in the 1990’s, told through the eyes of a young girl. Our second speaker is Fatima Kacapor, a Jericho Foundation Scholar, who is working her way toward a college degree in BiH. Fatima will share her triumphant story as she overcame the adversity of being raised in a post-war environment.
