GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — There is still tickets available for this Friday’s Grand Rapids Griffins’ game that will be the 2nd annual ‘Red Kettle Game’. $3 of each ticket purchased will be going to support the Salvation Army and celebrate the start of the Red Kettle Campaign to raise public awareness of their work.
The Griffins will be wearing special red Jerseys with the Salvation Army’s Red Shield on them. These Jerseys will be autographed and auctioned-off after the game to benefit the Salvation Army. Tickets are still available for purchase.
Grand Rapids will also be celebrating the start to the Red Kettle Campaign by transforming the Blue Bridge. From Saturday, November 12th to Tuesday, November 15th, the bridge will be turned bright red.
