Police: Teen accidentally shot in head in GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Rapids teenager was taken to the hospital after he was shot in the head Saturday night.

It happened at 10:12 p.m. in a home on Griggs Street near Division Avenue.

Grand Rapids police say it appears two juveniles were “playing a game” when the gun went off. The 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
