DETROIT (WOOD) — The Detroit baby for whom an Amber Alert was issued Tuesday has been found.
Eleven-month-old Savannah Rayford is safe, according to Detroit police.
Police say that Savannah’s mother, Marquita Dupree, took the baby from her foster parent around 3 p.m. Tuesday. Dupree does not have custody of Savannah.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said that Savannah has sickle-cell anemia and needed her medication. The center also said Dupree has mental health issues.
