Suspected drunk driver hits Calhoun Co. home

PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities arrested a suspected drunk driver who hit a home in Calhoun County Wednesday night.

The crash happened in the 900 block of Capital Avenue NE in Pennfield Township around 10:50 p.m.

Deputies say a family was inside the home when the crash occurred, but no one was hurt.

The driver, identified as a 55-year-old Pennfield Township man, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. He remains in the Calhoun County Jail pending arraignment.
