BCPD: 1 taken to hospital after shooting

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Battle Creek police are investigating after they say a man was shot in the arm early Friday morning.

Police believe the shooting happened in the 500 block of W Michigan Avenue, but say the 21-year-old man was dropped off at the hospital by private vehicle at 2:01 a.m. The man appeared to have suffered two gunshot wounds to his right arm.

Officers believe the shooting happened just prior to the victim arriving at the hospital.
