GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A West Michigan man who pleaded guilty to producing child pornography is heading to prison.

A judge Tuesday sentenced Normann Robert Pittelkow to 22 years and 1 month in prison. Pittlekow also faces 15 years of probation when he’s released, and must pay $20,000 in restitution.

Normann Pittelkow, 42, and his long-time girlfriend Nicole Jacob, 35, both pleaded guilty in federal court to producing child pornography earlier this year. They both must register as sex offenders.

Pittelkow admitted to authorities that he recorded a child posing naked and in lingerie. He then sold the video, as well as one of her in the bathtub, for $200 to someone he met online, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Patrick Miles’ office.

Jacob also admitted to posing with three children in lingerie and nude in photos taken by Pittelkow, which she intended to sell online, according to the release.

The couple fled the state and were added to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Operation Predator app, which alerts users to wanted suspects and allows them to share tips.

They later surrendered to authorities in November 2015.
