Riley Street reopens after gas line accident

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Riley Street in Holland Township is back open after construction crews hit a gas line, according to dispatchers.

Ottawa County dispatchers said the gas line was hit around 11 a.m. near Riley Street and 132nd Avenue. Riley Street was closed in both directions for nearly two hours while crews work to repair the line.

As of 1 p.m. Wednesday, one lane of Riley Street remained closed and Southland Court was also shut down. Riley Street reopened around 2:30 p.m., according to dispatchers.
