Season Snowfall

This is a picture of the Visitor Center at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.  They report a snow depth here of 98″ (over 8 feet) and a season snowfall total of 329″.  Other season snowfall totals from Western ski areas”  Mammoth Mt. CA  243″ (they had 176″ all last winter), 277″ Steamboat Springs CO, 291″ Alta UT, 293″ Squaw Valley CA, 315″ Snowbird UT.  Top honors go to Alyeska, Alaska with 563″ of snow so far this winter!

West Michigan season snowfall as of 5 pm Monday:  Lansing 22.0″, Grand Rapids 29.5″, Kalamazoo 45.6″, Muskegon 50.2″.  Upper Michigan season snowfall:  88.6″ Marquette, 135″ Painesdale, 170″ Delaware.

We’ve had some freezing drizzle overnight in some areas – including Grand Rapids.  Watch for slick spots.
