Heavy lake-effect snow has accumulated over a foot deep on the other side of Lake Michigan and also in a couple bands coming off Lake Huron. The wind has been NNE, so the wind off the lake has been bringing the lake-effect bands in SE Wisconsin, NE Illinois and also off Lake Huron into E. Michigan. Wurtsmith AFB in Iosco Co. reports 15″ of new snow. Near Racine WI they report 21.5″ of new snow in the last 2 days! Other Wisconsin totals: 14.7″ Wind Point, 14″ N. Bay, 13.5″ Jackson, 10″ S. Milwaukee. Illinois totals: 6″ Chicago and Evanston, 9″ Waukegan and 10″ at Munster IN.
