2nd Day in the Mid-Upper 80s

Central Great Lakes sector loopRadars here will update automatically.  Most of us will be dry all day with high temps. in the mid-upper 80s.

Up top is a map of  high temperatures from Tuesday.  Grand Rapids and Ionia were the warmest at 88.  The lakeshore readings on the map are high temps. at the airports.

These are high temperatures at the Lake Michigan shoreline and at two of the buoys that are about 2.75 miles offshore.  It’ll be much cooler at the lake again today.

Could this be the first day of 2017 that Barrow, Alaska (officially now named Utqiaġvik) reaches 32 degrees?  They haven’t reached 32 since last October.  This is the northernmost point in Alaska.  You can see the ice-covered Arctic Ocean.  They have 24-hours of daylight now through August 2, but often they sit under a blanket of low clouds.  About 4,400 people live in Barrow.
