Up to 19″ of New Snow!

Winter Storm Warnings are out for parts of Upper Michigan for up to 19″ of new snow!  Wind gusts up to 35 mph will blow the snow into drifts that could reach 3-feet high.  Travel will become a challenge.  Three to seven inches of snow (locally more) could fall in the area under Winter Weather Advisories.   European model gives Michigan a cold Dec./JanCFS model forecasting a cold winter.

This is cold Arctic air and temperatures Friday PM will be nearly 20 degrees colder than average.
