Hundreds of people attended a reception Tuesday to honor late West Michigan philanthropist Helen DeVos.
The Orlando Magic announced the team will be wearing “HDV” patches on their jerseys to honor Helen DeVos for the rest of the season.

Helen DeVos, who died last week, was laid to rest in a private ceremony Saturday, according to a statement from Amway.
Public visitation and a simulcast of the philanthropist’s private funeral will take place on Oct. 23 and 24.
