* SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO INTENSIFY LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON
ACROSS THE AREA.

* HEAVIEST SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE FOUND ALONG THE I-196 CORRIDOR
NEAR AND SOUTH OF HOLLAND.

* LOCALLY HEAVIER BURSTS OF SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED UNDER HEAVIER
BANDS WHERE SNOWFALL RATES OF AN INCH PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE
FROM LATE TUESDAY INTO THURSDAY MORNING.

* ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY...MAINLY BEGINNING
LATE ON TUESDAY.

* ROAD SALT WILL BECOME LESS EFFECTIVE TUESDAY NIGHT AND

SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT WITH THE GREATEST
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES EXPECTED FOR THE FAVORED LAKE
EFFECT AREAS. HOWEVER...SLICK ROADS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF
THE AREA DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF THE SNOW SHOWERS AND FALLING
TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID 20S...RESULTING IN THE FREEZING OF
EARLIER MELTED SNOW.
